Big Dipper
Shortly after Tokolosh the river heads towards a hill and turns sharp left. This was shot at a full level and is a very forgiving line, allowing you to sneak all the trouble on the inside by staying left.
At a medium or low level, the line in is far more to the right, close to the trees, after which you need to to work towards the middle and then follow the water. At the bottom the river flows straight at the big rock on the right. Take it slowly, leaning against the rock if need be, and follow the river as it snakes right then left into the final drop
Pro Tip
Positive paddling makes this rapid easy! In low conditions you have to drop into it on the right. A few positives strokes will get you away from the big rocks and trees that overhang the right hand bank. At the bottom, don't get freaked out by the water rushing towards the big rock on the right. Just ride the water as it snakes left off the rock. If you have to lean into the rock, not away from it.
