Boat Gobbler
250 metres after Full Stop, after a short flat pool, the river heads into a steep drop followed by a sharp turn to the right. This video is shot at a full level, which makes for very easy lines. This rapid starts off with a short chicken run, ideally shot right of centre, and gradually goes through bigger and bigger waves, until it dumps into a nice big hole at the bottom, which can be skirted on the left. Be aware that a small cliff is right at the bottom of the rapid, so prepare for a hard right turn.
Pro Tip
At a very full level, if the waves are a bit too intimidating for you, there is a sneak on the extreme left, around a small island.
At a low level it is advisable to approach the rapid on the extreme right. This requires some positive driving to avoid the bigger rocks on the right, but definitely takes you through the deeper water in the rapid
